Membership Details

Membership of the Sharks Ski Club is open to anyone below the age of 18 and their parents. To join the club, children must be able to :-

  • · take the Button Lift or T-Bar up the slope and
  • · descend the slope in a controlled manner using snowplough turns.
  • Parents of children under the age of 10 are required to remain at the slope for the duration of the session. Click on "Important Stuff for Parents" for more information about legal bits, safety matters and the Club's policy on helmet wear, etc.
  • Interested?

If you are interested in joining the Club, you will need to contact the Membership Team. They will be pleased to explain how everything works, and tell you about the benefits the Sharks Ski Club can offer the young skier.

You will be invited to come along for an "Introductory Session" first, so that you can decide if skiing in a club environment is for you. It also gives us a chance to assess your skiing ability and so decide which of our eight groups you should be in. In order for us to provide a good service for prospective members, we do limit the number of new skiers to two per introductory session, and can only do this on a pre-booked basis.

    Associate Membership

Associate Membership is also available for skiers who do not intend to ski regularly with Sharks, but do need to be a member of a Snowsport England (SSE) affiliated club to allow them to take part in Race or Freestyle Competitions or become members of Regional or National Teams.

    How much does it cost?

Not a lot!! See Membership Fees to find out more.
